The day of the Test
Posted on April 30th, 2010 @ 11:58 am

I was buzzing with nervous energy when I woke up. I made my favorite breakfast but it did nothing to clam my nerves, I was barely able to enjoy it as I thought about what might be on the test.
Finally I was ready to go. I walked into the village and there was a crowd waiting. As I pushed my way through to the Grand Tester I heard people wish me luck. Their voices sounded distant, as though they were far away, though I knew they were standing very close.
The Grand Tester smiled at me as I made it to the front.
“The test is not as hard as you think, I expect you’ll be feeling nervous and weary but follow your instincts and I know you’ll be fine.” He assured me. His words made me feel calmer and I sternly told myself that I could do this, I just had to believe. “Please step this way and I’ll take you to your test”
I stepped in front of him, he placed his hand on my shoulder and suddenly we were in a different setting altogether.

Next installment
Posted on April 25th, 2010 @ 6:33 am

Tomorrow was my wisdom test and as I sat in my bedroom staring at the stars I could feel the butterflies fluttering around my stomach. If I did well I would be granted full status as a wise women and given my mystical seal. I slowly made my way over to my bed, thinking deeply about what test might be chosen to test me tomorrow. I sat on my bed and crossed my legs, closed my eyes and stilled my thoughts. Immediately I felt much better, I drew the power within my body together and focused on creating a spirit ball, soon I could feel it warming my hands, I imagined a glass ball around the spirit power and set it spinning. Though I didn’t open my eyes I imagined it was a bright ball of many colours spining and shinning briliantly. I reabsorbed the spirit ball and opened my eyes.
Feeling much calmer I got into bed and sent a quick prayer of strength to the goddess. I let my self drift into sleep.

I thought I’d start a new story today
Posted on April 24th, 2010 @ 3:10 pm

Before I get into the story I have a few things to explain; I’ll do the story in installments (ideally daily), they will be in a different font from my regular posts and filed under ‘Story’ (hopefully when I get more into it I’ll think of a name ‘^_^). Here’s the first part, just a little taste to get started XD

So this is it?

How did I get to this point? I looked over all the decisions that had lead to this I just couldn’t see it coming.
Standing here at the alter, all eyes turned to us as I watched him betray me. I’d never thought that he would do it but then what hadn’t I been wrong about?

Forever

I was sitting on a rocky outcrop at the beach, staring out over the ocean as the sunset as I heard his footsteps. A light breeze blew my hair and as he sat next to me I looked down into the water. He placed swept my hair aside and put a flower behind my ear, lifted my chin and looked into my eyes.
“The flower suits you Kira, I knew it would. The Magnolia is beautiful, elegant and tough” he smiled “I know you’re nervous about tomorrow but you’ll be great, I know you can do anything you set your mind to”

~Music~
Posted on April 9th, 2010 @ 7:36 am

I bought some new piano music today~!

I’m learning to play Colours of the Wind at the moment, it’s such a beautiful piece <3

I also used my PokeWalker (from HeartGold) for the first time today I really like it. I transferred my Sandshrew across and went out to the music store and I managed to find three items and a Nidoran. I transferred all the goodies to my DS and unlocked a new area (awesome XD) and then transferred my new Nidoran back to the PokeWalker as the Pokemon to be walked and went for a walk down to the park. I want to unlock a new area and catch me a Pokemon :) At the moment I’ve walked up enough points for the new area but I need two more points to catch a Pokemon, can’t wait!

The walk was nice I took some time to really enjoy my surroundings; the beauty of a big arching gum tree, the elegance of a bird in flight… Then I looked around and noticed how few people were out and about. It’s sad that people don’t spend more time outdoors, there’s less interaction and not as many friendships forming. I bet you could go outside before TV and see heaps of people. Imagine that, going outside and just greeting everyone that you know whilst you go for your stroll, seeing people with pushers and toddlers, kids just having fun and playing around outside. I wish I could have seen the world like that…

Well on that rather wistful note I better leave you and get back to all that homework I should have been doing on the holidays but left to the last minute #^_^#
